Course Objective

Of this course is to teach students to associate the stacking features in celi writings with functions, forms and styles; to compare the traditional and non- traditional styles in stacking, to define effects of information technologies in design phase and to show them in a unique example.

In this course, the richness of composition in celi writings will be shown in examples which are applied on light and dark ground.

Assessment Criteria

The course begins with theoretical description, drawing with the help of visuals and personal applications about related subjects. . At the end of the classes, the subject of next class is announced to students as research subject. At the beginning of the next class, stages of the works are examined, mistakes are criticized and discussed; then the students begin their new application in studios.
