Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to understand ideologies shaping/framing Turkish political life within the background of the rise and evolution of modern ideologies and political movements. Specific emphasis will be devoted to the writings of major representatives. Enlightenment thought, liberalism, conservatism, Marxism, social democracy, nationalism, and feminism are amongst the main topics that are to be dealt in this course. |
