Course Objective |
|
This course aims to understand the political, economic and socio-cultural dynamics of the transition from the imperial state structures to modern nation-state formation in the Ottoman-Turkish polity. Special emphases will be placed on the ideological and political terrain of Turkish modernity in a comparative perspective. |
