Course Objective

Under the supervision of an audiologist or ENT doctor , determining hearing threshold successfully in the audiology clinics , performing speech audiometry during the tests are performing , masking is done in accordance with the rules and screening newborn.Performing audiological assessments of hearing loss or balance disorder patients and discussing the tests results.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to perform pure tone audiometry, acoustic immitansmeter and acoustic reflex test
2   To be able to perform newborn hearing screening test
3   To be able to perform pure tone audiometry masking method regularly
4   to manages the challenges that encountered during audiological tests

2 Hearing devices selection criterias, participates hearing device applications
3 to know importance early identification and enough amplification in babies
4 to know which tests use for hearing loss identification
5 to assess satisfaction of hearing aid users with inventory
6 applying new born hearing screening test
7 correlate otoscopic evaluation and test results
8 Mid-term exam
9 Applying audiological evaluation and can completed alone
10 Applying Transient auto acoustic emission test
