Course Objective

This course will enhance students' writing, reading, speaking and listening skills with the use of communicative approach.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Reading and comprehension of English texts at upper-intermediate level.
2   Learning vocabulary needed in their fields at upper-intermediate level.
3   Providing effective use of foreign language in the fields at upper-intermediate level.
4   Writing in target language in the field at upper-intermediate level.
5   Using target language in their daily life effectively at upper-intermediate level.

4 Voc: word building: suffixes Gr: be used to, get used to Ls: English songs, problems with young children Unit 2C- 2D
5 Voc: types of crime, criminals and crime verbs Gr: second conditionals; alternatives for IF Unit 3A- 3B
6 Voc: verbs and prepositions Gr: third conditional Ls: a lawyer- client meeting Unit 3C- 3D
