Course Objective

Teaching the turning technique steps from classical ballet method and develop, gain the artistic skills at the undergraduate level. In this course, the exercises from the method and the turning technique are taught for both boys and girls.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students can get to know their body in terms of turning techniques with various warm-up and strengthening exercises.
2   Students can understand the turning technique from ballet exercises and steps.
3   Student can practice the turning steps from the exercise.
4   Students can perform turning exercises in different musical temps of the various Level.
5   Students can apply the use of breath correctly according to the characteristics of the movements.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The proper techniques regarding turning in ballet will be taught by the instructor through exhibiting the movements in class, which should then be followed by student participation to aid the learning process.
For the subsequent course, turning technique courses are prerequisites.
