Course Objective

Introducing some imaging techniques: X-rays, MRI, USG/ Doppler, fMRI, PET, SPECT, 3-D Imaging, new techniques.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about radiation biophysics and imaging techniques
2   To have knowledge about the definition of radioactivity, scintigraphy, dual photon densimeter, radiation, practices in nuclear medicine and fundamental principles in imaging
3   To have knowledge about X-rays, MRI, USG/ Doppler, fMRI, PET, SPECT, 3-D Imaging, new techniques.
