Course Objective |
Introduction of the characteristics of the basic genres (as Classicism) from Renaissance to the end of the XVIIth Century, parallel to the basic concepts of the art of drama to the student; and also the comprehension and skill gaining in using those orally and verbally. |

The main method in the lectures is the discussions to help the students understand the characteristics covered, after the lecturer states the context and form characteristics of a stage play text. |

The comprahension of the genre, literary movement and author of the play, characteristics of those, are the base in the exam evaluations. |

It is significant to deliver the papers complete and on time, to do sufficient research of sources and using them in ethical way and make correct use of that. |

Course Policies and Rules |
Students are responsible for the reading of the sources about stage play texts as well as the play texts to be held in the class. It is obligatory to hand the papers and the presentations on time and complete. |
