Course Objective

To supply to introduce ship hand tools and repairing-installation and overhaul method,
to gain practice and hand skill.

1 Introduction to repair of ship parts and overhaul, introduction to tools, vernier calipers
2 Safety rules in engine room and workshop, micrometers
3 Spanners, chisels and cutting tools
4 Wrenches, vices, and hammers
5 Files and brushes, scrapers
6 Hydraulic pump, jack, and cylinder, grease nipple
7 Hydraulic pump, jack, and cylinder, grease nipple
8 Drilling bits, the other hand tools, All kind of seals, seal rings, packings and mechanical seals
9 Alignment, adhesives, the other measuring instruments
10 All kind of fittings and pipes
11 Fittings
12 V belt, rivet, engine crane, pipe clips, ball bearing
13 Valves (gate, globe-check etc)
14 Alignment of pump and motor
