Course Objective

To enable the resident to consolidate the theoretical knowledge on radiotherapy physics through advanced clinical practice

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to make, evaluate and apply advanced conformal and IMRT treatment planning;
2   Demonstrate an understanding of brachytherapy systems and to make advanced brachytherapy treatment planning;
3   Ability to perform quality controls of all radiotherapy systems using advanced radiotherapy techniques;
4   Ability to perform quality controls of telethetapy devices containing radioactive sources;
5   Ability to perform environmental radiation measurements and to evaluate the measurement results
