Course Objective

Testing Laboratory Standard: This standard covers the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. It also provides an overview of the conditions on the adequacy of testing and calibration performed using standard methods,non-standard methods, and laboratory-developed methods

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the concept of Testing Laboratory Standard and then remember
2   Expected to be able to express the concept of Testing Laboratory Standard in their own words
3   Expected to solve different problems using knowledge about the concept of Testing Laboratory Standard
4   Expected to describe the reasons for the concept of Testing Laboratory Standard, see the results and generalizations and the evidences that support and reject them.
5   Expected to know exactly the information required synthesis of the Testing Laboratory Standard concept aims and are not permitted to estimates by chance. Expected to provide creative answers with that knowledge
6   Evaluation of Testing Laboratory Standard, expected to decide about the answer - the process - the method - the result using the student's own knowledge and ideas and defend these decisions

Assessment Criteria

1. For the notes which is the border between the two notes , participated the group work carry the note a higher level.

2. Sample analysis will be made in the form of a group work. Distribution of tasks within the group and to ensure equal participation of each group member is the responsibility of the group.Marking of the sample analysis will be held by the instructor and all students to be explained at the end of the semester,.

3. Sample analysis, field research and presentations, the subject has been expressed clearly, the originality of findings and debate based on the relevant standarts, the accuracy of the results, comprehensiveness of the report content, analysis depth,
the mechanics of presentation such as the timing and functioning of the presentation and compliance of images will be evaluated.
