Course Objective

To gain knowledge and skill about medical emergencies by considering the ethical principles and patient security principles

1   The student can determine aims of emergency nursing
2   The student knows emergency unit and, patient and their families characteristics
3   The student can array the secure care interventions in the emergency service
4   The student can explain the importance of legal and ethical subjects in the emergecy nursing

6   The student can transfer current developments and own studies in emergency nursing as written, oral and visual presentations

Assessment Criteria

Presentation skill of the student, her/his preparation to the subject and participation in discussions will be assessed as the midterm exam.
The skills of interpretation, decision making, explanation and knowledge combination will be assessed in the final exam.
