Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to understand the needs of the individual with chronic disease by using specific models in the clinical environment and apply strategies that are developed for solution.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Discuss the problems and solution suggestions regarding the application field of the chronic diseases nursing.
2   Assess the efficiency of new knowledge and skills being used in the application field of the chronic diseases nursing
3   Use a model or theory regarding the chronic diseases nursing for the care of an adult individual with chronic disease.
4   Assess and solve problems that emerge in the application field of the chronic diseases nursing.
5   Set up a functional relationship with other members of the medical team for the development of the care of individuals with chronic diseases
6   The student can discuss her/his views about the use of theories and models in the care of the individual with chronic disease with specialists.
