Course Objective |
This course aims at making the students ready for the field lecture and practices by ensuring them to focus on the developing and changing new information on the issues of basic concepts of surgical nursing, adult developmental stages, preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative nursing and perioperative training of the individual and the family and contributing to the thesis subject in line with theory-based model. |

Students are responsable in this course for developing training material for patient and family in relation to the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative periods by using the innovations of preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative nursing care, theories on developmental stages and principles of individual and family training. |
