Course Objective

The aim of this course is to investigate the technical and artistic distribution of academic classical ballet education according to the degrees in accordance with the method. In this course, the content of classical ballet technique, teaching methods, aims and the connections between them are examined and the distribution of technical and artistic education according to years in the training process is explained.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to perform choreographies solo and in a group.
2   Identify the performances by period, style and type.
3   Coordinate movements with periodic gestures and gestures.
4   Examines the art of dance and performance, the different roles in the works of opera from the social, historical and contemporary perspectives.
5   To be able to use the theoretical knowledge on the development of the periodical dance in opera.

5 Royal Spectacles in the Baroque Age: Louis 14th and Moliére.
6 Enlightenment and the Ballet d'Action.
7 Romantic Period
8 Dance Scenes at the Operas (The Masked Ball)
9 Dance Scenes at the Operas (La Bohéme)
10 Dance Scenes at the Operas (Don Giovanni)
11 Dance Scenes at the Operas (Faust)
