Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the dynamics of peer relations and the main issues in communication: verbal and non-verbal communication, asking questions, active listening, reflection, reframing, self-expression and negotiation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to describe the basic principles of communication and communication skills
2   Will be able to explain non-verbal communication skills
3   Will be able to describe the technique of asking questions and its function in the interpersonal communication process.
4   Will be able to complete basic listening skills and its function in interpersonal communication process.
5   Will be able to complete the basic reflection technique and its function in the interpersonal communication process.
6   Will be able to describe the basic explanation technique and its function in the interpersonal communication process.
7   Will be able to describe the basic negotiation technique and its function in the interpersonal communication process.
