Course Objective

The aim of the course is the understanding of mathematics teaching and training programs within the framework of present-day structure of learning activities, types, roles, recognition, and develop the skill to classify samples. In addition, participants able to learn the learning activities in the research literature that exists for the secondary level, students able to develop examples.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Comprehending the activity concept (both in terms of task and activity) meanings
2   Comprehending the activity-centered teaching approach and understanding the basic principles of this approach
3   Comparing perspectives on learning activities and camparing them
4   Comprehending the examples of learning activities, classifing them, and understanding and explaining the characteristics of each types.
5   Developing learning activities for secondary school mathematics and geometry topics
6   Ability to present the results of research on learning activities
