Course Objective

To enable the students to comprehend the development, steps, and successes of the Turkish Islamic Civilization besides the failure and decline process with the reasons

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student, at the end of the semester, will; learn the development, steps, and successes of the Turkish Islamic Civilization besides the failure and decline process with the reasons
2   know and be aware of the products of the experiences and characteristics of Muslim Turkish states such as Karakhanids, Ghaznavids, Seljukids, Ottomans; and learn their contributions to Islamic civilization
3   be aware of the effects of Turkish Islamic civilization to other civilizations
4   learn the state, social life and institutions in Turkish Islamic civilization; have knowledge on the development of economy and economic institutions
5   overview the science and arts in Turkish Islamic civilization with its main and original aspects
