Course Objective

Using the knowledge about concepts, propositions and inferences, especially to analyze the scientific texts accurately and comfortably, to gain the power to evaluate and use them. In addition, as a result of these acquisitions and gains, to recognize the mistakes well and to develop a determination awareness to be correct and consistent.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will find an pportunity for analysing the concept of "truth" and "concistincy".
2   Students will be able to use concepts in apple-pie order and not fall into confusion in using concepts. (revised)
3   Students will develop to analyze arguments to quickly understand what could be deducted from what or vice versa and ability control between premiss and conclusion.
4   Students ability control between premiss and conclusion.
5   Students learn the ways aware during speaking and writing from mistakes quickly.
6   Grasp the importance of not making mistakes in scientific, philosophical and religious areas.

The students will be assessed based on success in their mid-term and final exams along with their performance during the classes throughout the semester.
