Course Objective

To present the execution and development of logic and the place of Farabi in these developments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be informed about the history of logic
2   Will learn the stages which the science of logic passed.
3   Will learn how logic was transferred to Islamic world and the contributions of Muslim logicians to the logic.
4   Among these logicians, will grasp the importance of Farabi.
5   By virtue of his or her knowledge which was taken from Farabi, finds an oppurtunity for better understanding of logic and its topics.
