Course Objective

It is aimed to make students analyze Türkiye-Greece relations considering historical background. Also it is aimed to make them achieve a level that they could analyze today s main problems being aware of judicial structure.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be aware of main historical facts affecting Türkiye-Greece relations
2   Be aware of provisions about minorities in Lausanne Agreement.
3   Defines Continental Shelf and Territorial Waters and tells international judicial regulations about these concepts
4   Defines Aegean Dispute and tells mutual thesis belonging to Türkiye and Greece
5   Analyzes socio-political structure and problems of Western Thrace Turks .
