Course Objective

To analyze the national legislation pertaining to environmental management, to evaluate the position of Türkiye by examining international studies and to examine the strategic approaches suitable for global developments within the scope of the course

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   be able to know the basic conception which are related to balancing conservation and usage of enviroment administration.
2   Be able to knowing strategical improvements about enviromental administration.
3   Be able to evaluate the high enviroment standart and avaliability of investment in enviromental conditions
4   Be able to develop knowledge related to enviromental standarts for declining the enviromental risks.
5   Be able to learn progress of common security which is related to enviromental administration in international level.

1 Introduction, general information about the course, explanation of the concepts in general terms, evaluation of the importance of the course in the learning plan.
2 Presentation of a general overview on the issues of the course `International Environmental Management and Policy , globalization and its effects on environmental policies
3 International environment-based structurings and voluntary institutions, political parties, a general evaluation
4 Integrated environment and its relations with new structuring models
5 National and international dimensions of Integrated Environmental Management
6 Analyses of Integratedness in International Agreements
7 Integrated Environmental Policies in the European Union and Council of Europe
8 A General Evaluation and Book Analyses
9 Importance of Standardization and Environmental Standards
10 What is the position of Türkiye in Standardization
11 ISO 14001 Standard of Environmental Management System, EMAS EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme
12 Report Analyses
13 Presentation of Research Papers
14 General evaluation and reminder, reviewing the degree of achievement of the learning outcomes of the course by making a situation analysis of the period.
