Course Objective

In the context of the new role of the state in the economy, the regulation theories and the regulation policies implemented in Türkiye are handled multidimensionally.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to outline the regulatory role of the state in the economy.
2   To be able to relate the concepts of regulation and competition.
3   To be able to discuss the benefits and drawbacks of regulation in the context of regulation theories.
4   To be able to interpret the effectiveness of regulatory institutions in Türkiye.
5   To be able to determine what needs to be done for the independence of regulatory agencies.
