Course Objective |
The primary goal of this course is to thoroughly examine the phenomenon of globalization that emerged after the 1980s and to deeply analyze its impacts on modernity, nation-states, and particularly Türkiye. Throughout the course, the reflections of the free market economy in Türkiye, the economic, social, and cultural challenges posed by globalization will be meticulously discussed; focusing on the internal developments within the European Union and the current state and future of Türkiye's relations with the EU. The course aims to enable students to understand the various dimensions of the globalization process and critically assess its effects on the dynamics between Türkiye and the international community. |
