Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to achieve a necessary understanding of the political history of the Great Seljuq State and its importance for the history of Turks and Türkiye.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Analyze the foundation and development of the Great Seljuq State
2   Have a better understanding of the political history of the Great Seljuq State
3   Analyze the deterioration and disintegration of the Great Seljuq State
4   Have a better understanding of the importance of the Great Seljuq State for the history of Turks
5   The political-military history of the Seljuqs.
