Course Objective

Analysing the cultur policy in the knowledge society, cultural values and its change in Türkiye, education and relation cultural values, effects of cultural values to the philosophy of life, the relation of cultur and technology, institutional and organizational cultures in the knowledge society, cultural field in knowledge society, cultural change and sub-systems in the knowledge society in the light of basic technologic paradigm creates Knowledge Society.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   . Able to explain the new scientific methods in social science
2   Able to analyze the social settlement
3   Able to explain the settlement of knowledge society
4   Able to determine the function of cultural field in different social structures and the socail whole.
5   Able to analyze the historical evolution and circumstance of cultural values of Turkish society
6   Able to understand the changing process of cultural values of Turkish society

1. LO 1-3 will be asked in mid-term exam
2. LO 1-5 will be asked in final exam
3. LO 1-5 will be assessed with term homework or presentation
