Course Objective

In the light of new developments in the field of oncology, it is possible to gain basic information about liquid biopsies and their areas of use and to continue the projects and scientific studies on the subject.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Can describe in general terms liquid biopsies and their role in cancer (information)
2   2. Recognizes and comprehends liquid biopsies and cancer in general terms.
3   3. Recognizes and comprehends the usage areas of liquid biopsies in cancer in general terms.

Assessment Criteria

Graduate students should actively participate in lectures and literature vs. discussions about liquid biopsy. Students should evaluate their knowledge about the subject as an exam about liquid biopsies and their usage area. He/she should prepare a homework presentation that includes current changes with the subject.
