Course Objective

To learn the basic concepts and research methods related to the higher cortical functions of the central nervous system and behavioral physiology

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to describe the structural and functional organization of the central nervous system
2   To be able to describe the role of interneuronal communication and neurotransmitters
3   Understanding the higher cortical functions of the brain
4   Ability to apply behavioral experiments
5   Ability to plan laboratory work
6   To understand the neurobiological basis of functional disorders of the brain
