Course Objective

To become familiar with functional and structural aspects of the cell.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To conceptualize molecular and cellular aspects of life
2   To become familiar with genetic and epigenetic mechanisms at the cellular level
3   To learn structure and function of subcellular compartments of mammalian cells
4   To understand regulation of mammalian cell cycle
5   To learn abnormal functioninig of cell in relation to human diseases
6   To became familiar with basic mechanisms of cell communication
