Course Objective

The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with literary approaches and movements , promote skills to apply them and to enhance critical thinking strategies

1   Students are able to acquire the knowledge of British plays in different periods according to literary movements,
2   To study the plays in terms of new criticism
3   To study the play in terms of the other literary movements
4   To apply literary approaches to the plays
5   To utilize literary texts in ELT classes
