Course Objective

Developing knowledge and skills to develop a themed, theoretically-based or holistic psychoeducation program for school-based, institution-based and classroom practices with families, groups, and to evaluate its effectiveness in the psychological counseling process.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the value of group work in the counseling process
2   To understand the importance of psychoeducation process in psychological counseling
3   Understanding the structure of psychoeducational studies
4   To learn how psychoeducational studies are structured
5   Developing a psychoeducation outline
6   To be able to develop ethical practices that are compatible with culture
