Course Objective

It is understood what the meaning of ethics and aesthetics is and how is relationship between them. To understand ethics and aesthetics within the view of philosophy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students understand the relationship between ethics and aesthetics.
2   Students learn particular relations between ethics and aesthetics.
3   The student learns different ethical and aesthetical approaches.
4   Student can analyze philosophical criticisms on effects of ethics in pluralism, tolerance and catharsis.
5   Student can analyze philosophical criticisms on effects of aesthetics in pluralism, tolerance and catharsis.

6 Relational Approach or from aesthetics to ethics : Kant, Kierkegaard.
7 Rejecting or Exclusionary Approaches I: Rousseau.
