Course Objective

Retailers should give right decisions and take steps right to be successful in increasing globalization and competition environment. The purpose of this course is to familiarize the students an overview of the retail industry and an understanding of retail developments and new trends so that they can reflect what they learned in their working life as a manager

1   To be able to evaluate the applications in the field of retailing
2   By leraning the retailing concepts such as market, store types, supply channel, to be able to use those concepts at true places in real life.
3   To be able to recognize retailer marketing activities
4   To be able to define current practices at retailing sector
5   To be able to provide implementation of strategies by selecting the correct ones
