Course Objective

Aim of the course is to equip the students with the key elements of circular economy and its implications for single market. Customs Union between Turkey and the EU is very important for both of the trading partners. However, Green Deal is transforming the economic environment and the Customs Union is also exposed to this transformation. During the course, impact of green policies on Single European Market and the Customs Union between Turkey and the EU will be analysed.

1   Know principal environmental values of the EU
2   Learn environmental agreements of the EU
3   Evaluate sectoral developments and environmental values in the member states and interpret from Turkish point of view
4   Learn main principles of enviromental ideology in the EU
5   Know integratedness of disaster management and environmeal standards
6   Relate environmental philosophy to various international organisations
