Course Objective

The European Green Deal is the new growth strategy for EU to implement climate and energy policies to achieve zero carbon emissions by the year 2050. The Green policies also provide a new framework of competition in the Single Market. While companies start to implement sustainable models of production, sustainable consumption has become another key element in sustainable economy. Aim of the course is to study energy and climate policies implemented in Europe within the framework of Green Agenda and participation of economic actors to the sustainable and circular economy. In particular, Turkish participation to Green economy actions of Green Deal is of great importance to yield maximum benefit from Turkey EU Customs Union.
