Course Objective

In this course, the historical, political and economic relations of Far East Asian countries, the rising economic and political power of recent years, and the European Union will be discussed. The main aim of the course is to make aware the students the rising power of Far East Asian countries and in this context the relationship between EU and Far East Asian countries will be examined.

Assessment Criteria

1. The learner will clearly describe the nature and scope of EU and Asia relationship.
2. The learner will demonstrate sufficient knowledge on history, culture, politics, business and economics of EU and Asia.
3. The learner will demonstrate sufficient understanding on the role of USA and Russia in Eu and Asia relationship.
