Course Objective |
Memory Studies is one of the most effective interdisciplinary fields of today. Collective memory, cultural memory, memory spaces, cultural environments, visual and auditory recording methods are the main components of this field. Artists, photographers, can become a memory instrument over time, can represent collective memory, or they can form building blocks of cultural memory. The aim of the course is to learn the related memory types, to examine the relationship and interaction of collective memory and cultural memory with art from an interdisciplinary perspective and examples. |
