Course Objective

It is aimed to examine by considering the strategies, metabolic pathways, regulations, production and application of plant and microbial based seconder metabolite at the industrial scale production of seconder metabolites.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to generate ideas and discuss for significance of secondary metabolites, production of secondary metabolites
2   Students will be able to generate ideas and discuss for significance of metabolic pathways and regulations related with secondary metabolites.
3   Students will be able to have knowledge about production of plant based metabolite and examine.
4   Students will be able to have knowledge about production of microbial secondary metabolites and examine.
5   Students will be able to examine about economical production of secondary metabolites.

Meaningful learning of the basic concepts given in presentations, association of concepts with each other, establishing the cause-result relationships and making comments by using the information available for problems and evaluating idea generation are carried out with mid-term, final and resit exams, homework and presentations.
