Course Objective |
The immobilization of peptides, proteins, antibodies, enzymes, nucleic acids and many other affinity ligands will be exemplified by discussing the topics such as bases of affinity chromatography, immobilized affinity ligands used in different systems, how these ligands are applied, selection of matrix, methods of matrix activation, ligand immobilization, and the course will include the application areas of affinity systems depend on purpose. |

Meaningful learning of the basic concepts given in presentations, association of concepts with each other, establishing the cause-result relationships and making comments by using the information available for problems and evaluating idea generation are carried out with mid-term, final and resit exams, homework and presentations. |
