Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide gradutae studentsw with theoretical an practical knowledge of the basic techniques used in drinking and endustrial water treatment supported by hydrochemical model.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To be able to define term, concept and basic level reactions related to hydrochemistry
2   2. To be able to make data evaluation for raw water source
3   3. Understanding dissolved species forming water quality
4   4. Can set requirements for the installation of PHREEQCI hydrochemical model software
5   5. Be able to define the dominant processes in the PHREEQCI reaction model
6   6. Be able to analyze the model results
7   7. Using PHREEQCI software at the base level
