Course Objective

This is a unique course for engineering students on the air emissions of industrial developments and their control. It focuses on industrial combustion and process emissions from industrial sectors of interest in Türkiye Concepts as well as trends in Türkiye and other examples from the world are dealt with. This course does not require a prerequisite, engineering background is enough. It covers the following topics:

4   To be able develop emission control strategies for industrial sources

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The course is taught in a lecture, class presentation and discussion format. All class members are expected to attend and both the lecture and seminar hours and take part in the discussion sessions. Besides the lectures, presentations are to be prepared by the students. Homework assignments will also be prepared by the students. The solutions to the assignments will be given and discussed in the following lecture.
