Course Objective |
Bioenvironmental engineering is the applications of bioprocesses in environmental engineering. Recent advances in aerobic and anaerobic treatment of wastewater will be covered. Modifications of activated sludge,trickling filter, rotating biological contactor and fluidized bed systems will be emhasized. Design and optimization of advanced wastewater treatment systems constitute the major part of the course. Example problems will be presented and term projects will be assigned. |
