Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concept used in statistics and probability, basic statistical methods and some statistical distibutions. Besides it is aimed to make students expert on the issues such as collecting data, summarizing data by suitable graphics, to obtain the probability distibution of data. In addition, to introduce some of the statistical methods used to analyse data in the field of logistics, to discuss the problem countered in the application and to make the students think about the interpretation of the results. |
