Course Objective

In this course, intellectual property rights, the types of illustrate them conceptually, Türkiye, the registration procedure and examines protection under applicable law. Particularly, trademark, patent, utility model, industrial design also industrial property rights such as know-how and the protection of computer programs; license agreements related to intellectual property with competition law in relation to technology transfer issues are addressed.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To distinguish between the types of intellectual property rights and conceptual elements from each other evaluate the difference
2   Intellectual property rights, particularly copyright, patent, trademark and industrial design registration in Türkiye to be informed about the procedure of the current
3   Intellectual property rights and know-how in flour to violations that occur-which are protected against attacks and ways to grasp with the case
4   Of computer programs and its place in intellectual property law, and grasp in which way to interpret that is protected

3 The protection of trademark rights; invalidation of a trademark and termination of the rights
4 Patent law ; the concept of the invention and patentability requirements, patent application and patent granting, patent, utility model comparison
5 Protection of patent right; patent lawsuits in case of infringement of rights will be opened
6 Protection of patent right; patent lawsuits in case of infringement of rights will be opened
7 Industrial design law industrial design concept and types; protection conditions; design right; the registration of industrial designs
8 Know-how (the concept of technical and commercial information, know-how, the flour of the rights of nature; know-how un protection; know-how contracts
