Course Objective

To introduce students the concepts and methods of risk assessment and management.
To elaborate risk assessment and analysis tools, such as, risk assessment matrices, fault trees, event trees, decision trees, simulation and statistical models, and influence diagrams.
To teach students how to apply risk assessment and analysis in real world problems.
To discuss implementation issues.

1   Understand the basic concepts of Uncertainty, Risk, Occupational health and safety risks, Risk Assessment and Risk Management
2   Understand the concepts of Disaster Management, Crisis Management and Enterprise Risk Management
3   Explain the importance of occupational health and safety in Enterprise Risk Management
4   Apply basic risk assessment tools in real world problems.
5   Perform Risk Management planning
