Course Objective

In this course; it is aimed that students gain ability to derive mass, energy and momentum equations at curvilinear coordinate systems and to perform analysis of engineering systems in that heat and mass transfer occur simultaneously.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Stating mass, energy and momentum balance on a control volume.
2   Solving momentum equations in a boundary layer.
3   Solving energy equations in a boundary layer.
4   Calculating mass diffusion in a stationary medium.
5   Calculating equi-molar counter diffusion.
