Course Objective |
It is clear that it is more significant to evaluate historical buildings in terms of the whole fabric rather than in a single way. Within this context, streets are dealt with as a part of the city and the centerline which buildings integrate with. Samples from Anatolia, which present a great richness and diversity in terms of street fabrics, are examined within the scope of the course. The course aims the investigation and evaluation of historical buildings as part of the fabric, giving the students the ability of perception and evaluation of those buildings with their environment, in our case the street. |
