Course Objective

To provide a comprehensive knowledge on the fundamentals and basic concepts of electrodynamics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to calculate electric fields for various types of static charge distributions 2   Being able to find the electrostatic potential for a given boundary conditions 3   Being able to identify the electrostatics of macroscopic media 4   Being able to describe the fundamental concepts in electrostatics 5   Being able to formulate and solve problems in electromagnetism using appropriate mathematical techniques
