Course Objective |
The macrocyclic ligands play a very important role in analytical chemistry applications. These compounds such as porphyrin, crown ether, azacrown ether, thiacrown ether, calixarene complex with metal ions and interact with organic compounds and use in their separation and determination. The objective of this course is to introduce the application of each macrocyclic compound in analytical chemistry. Thus, in this course the importance and applications in the areas such as extraction and chromatography in analytical chemistry of each macrocylic compound will be discussed and explained in details. |
