Course Objective

to teach to the postgraduate students the characteristic fossil foramineras of Paleozoic to Recent, to relate the foraminiferal micropaleontology with the age, depositional conditions and correlation of the formations, to examine how to use foraminiferas for economical purposes.

5	able to map foraminiferal biofaciess

8	able to use data from foraminiferal content to solve the geological problems
